Mint Slice Pina Colada - the best twist on one of the most iconic cocktails in the world.

Thursday is $15 Tiki cocktails. Get amongst it

Jungle Bird - Cargo Cult Spiced Rum, Aperol, pineapple juice, demerara syrup, lime & garnished with mint leaves. Something different, having a cocktail. A nice, orange taste: much like orange Zooper Doopers or quality orange juice without the usual tartness associated with orange juice.

Warm Kraken punch - it's bread and butter pudding in a glass. That being said, apparently they usually don't stick to one recipe when making it, so it might be different each winter

Mojito - $10 on Tuesdays. You know it, you love it.

Spiced Honey and Apple Treacle (on tap): dark rum, apple and honey, and bitters. Exactly as you'd expect treacle you taste, with the lovely apple profile, and gently spiced. Enjoy today!

Caribbean Cooler - cocktail (Diplomatico Planas, Appleton Signature, dry Curacao, orgeat syrup, Angostura lime juice): it has the taste of watermelon (the manufactured, not natural, but still good). As a good cocktail should be, it's refreshing. This is one of the popular cocktails the bar does, and it's easy to see why. You wouldn't know it was a rum-based cocktail, because of the quality rums used. In this particular instance, the bartender accidentally used the incorrect garnish, but such things are trivial to me.

Port Toddy (blazer) - I was going to go home, then some interesting characters turned up, and I decided to stay for one more. It has rum, port (as the name implies), amaro, butter, and garnished with cinnamon and orange. It's warm, buttery goodness. I'm having it mid-Spring, but it's definitely a wonderful Winter drink. I rate it pretty highly

La Sabatica - it started out as a Godfather, and the crew at Highball added their own twist. Bacardi Ocho, Disaranno, pineapple, lime and Falernum. I won't lie, it's amazing.
