Zuidam Flying Dutchman - Netherlands, neat: I don't think I've had many, if any, rums from Europe (besides the UK). The Dutchman is your typical basic rum - basic on the nose, and basic rum taste. It's like Throwback Thursday to the rums I drank as a younger man, so unless you're looking for a nostalgia trip to being 18-21 years old, this probably isn't the rum for you.

Rhum XO Transat Charbonnaud - France, neat: a soft rum that caresses your mouth, and excites the senses. It has a little bit of background spice, to liven it up. There are rums you wish could last forever, and this is one.
